not sure which of the results is the right fix:

Well, the url is below. But I was wrong - it's not the 'intitle' directive that wasn't working. It was the use of quotes to form an exact phrase, namely "VideoSift 3.0". It returned anything with "VideoSift" in the title. Don't know if that's technically a bug, but it's not working as advertised.

What is the url of your query? It seems to work for me:
http://videosift.com/search?q=intitle%3Axxx&t=t&u&o&vmin&vmax&l&n&b&submit=Search&pg=1

When searching for talk posts, "intitle:XXX" does not work at all. Is that by design? (Is this worthy of a sift talk post itself?)

It's dead.

was moved to promote another favorite oldie in your honor, but your partner santo yanked the embed.

dang. So, how does that work? I wasn't around when the 'blocked' invocation was implemented. Does it change the status of a post at all? Or is it just informational like the 'Long' and 'NSFW' tags?

Video owners can always fix their own embeds via the "modify video details" link. That's the reason for the 48 hour delay before it hits the deadpool. Personally, I think it's piss poor logic, but it's a hold over from pre-v3.0 when there was no deadpool and deaded videos were just discarded after a week.

In about 40 hours I can fix your dead Colbert video with the video from mine:

Unfortunately you can't fix it because you're not a gold star member, so just remind me in 40 hours to fix it for you. In case you're wondering why I have to wait that long, it's because all videos that are declared * dead must wait 48 hours before they go into the Dead Pool. Once there, anyone can fix them. Until then we simply have to wait. Sorry.
Anyway, just remind me in about 40 hours and I'll be happy to fix it for you.
cheers!

good point MG. I just deleted the league since no one signed up yet. If we can garner some interest, I'll recreate it. We got 2 anyway I think. Or were you just looking for tips, eric?
