The moon could be seen to do this quite recently here from Alaska as far South even as I near Anchorage.

During the months without light, the moon must still show up in Antarctica, right? Never really thought about that.
And seeing the sky and stars rotate completely horizontally, that's trippy.
And great music.

It starts to really creep you out when you don't see the dark of night after a while.
